MAINTAIN RELEASES FIRST FULL-LENGTH CD - "SOUL MUSIC"

MAINTAIN, San Fernando Valley's most original soul/funk band releases their first full-length album "Soul Music" on Saturday October 6, 2007 at Club Good Hurt - 12249 Venice Blvd. West Los Angeles, CA 90066.

The infectious grooves of MAINTAIN will come alive as they take to the stage at 11:00 to celebrate the release of their highly anticipated record. "The record is titled "Soul Music" because we feel it's the phrase that best encompasses our music." says guitarist/vocalist Jason Gutierrez. The MAINTAIN expression of "soul" music is more in-tune with the organic roots of the original
genre which covers a very broad range of soulful, rhythmic and poetic music.

The songs they have created have blossomed without any pre-conceived concepts or formulas. This is a real band, expressing themselves the only way they know how; they write and play what the know and feel. The self-produced album was recorded by Jason Gutierrez at his ENFIELD STUDIOS in the San Fernando Valley.
